Silvergate has developed systems for every aspect of business logistics. The projects mentioned here have been spread over two coasts and thirty years.

Our software has managed customer orders (computers), wholesale distribution (sneakers), service scheduling (microphones and projectionists), job-matching (carpenters and millwrights), time-sensitive distribution (human tissue)

We have designed complex routers for telephone companies We created large dialup networks for insurance companies, before the Web came in, on which we managed the flow of insurance applications, binders, DMV checks, and endorsements.

An Early Pioneer in OnLine Services

During the 1980's, as American CitiNet, we designed, wrote, and operated several major "first generation" network portals and on-line services.

CitiNet provided both the intelligent network routing (for US West, NYNEX), ISP Hosting Services (American CitiNet - with 90 commercial web sites, Bell Atlantic - with 30 or 40), and online destination sites - Boston CitiNet, Newsday Online, Omaha CitiNet
